Astute's Renewables team are recruiting for a Design Manager working with a UK wide ICP and EV charging installer. As a Design Manager you are responsible for the management and monitoring of the full design process.

The strategically important Design Manager role comes with a salary of �55,000- �65,000, pension, commission and private health.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Design Manager, will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design team and process, ensuring it meets business and compliance needs.
  • Preparing concept designs, sharing these with parties to build proposals.
  • Oversee the production of schematic diagrams.
  • Complete audits and input into quality assurance
  • Leading design teams in verification, certification of designs and validation.
  • Managing the design submissions, acting as the point of escalation for IDNOs and DNOs

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Construction Engineering or comparable experience.
  • Driving License
  • Experience of implementing design strategies.
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience of working with IDNOs or DNOs
