What you'll be doing:
Managing and mentoring the mechanical design team, focusing on projects like district heating and CHP energy centres.
Overseeing the delivery of design packages, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet commercial, contractual, and technical standards.
Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, HAZOP studies, and QHSE management systems.
What we want from you:
Proven experience as a Design Manager or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, with a strong background in district heating, CHP, and related energy systems.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with professional membership or ideally Chartered Status.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, manage, and motivate a design team.
