An innovative Construction services provider with a healthy and varied project portfolio is looking to source a Design Manager to join their team and provide a total design management solution for an ongoing, traditional contract build in the Torbay area.
Working on site and assuming responsibility for liaising with the site teams, senior management, consultants and architects to effectively manage the design process, It's expected you'd have good communication and negotiation skills, sound technical awareness and knowledge of project software.
Additionally, we are looking for someone with a solid work history with a great understanding of detailed design and experience of performing a full Design management role on project(s) of a similar size and complexity (ideally gained in a Tier 1 Contracting environment).
You'll need a good eye for detail, the confidence to challenge drawn information to improve detailing, and knowledge of buildability to create efficiencies in the process.
