Design Manager

My client are�a well-established Construction Company based in Greater Manchester who are looking for a Design Manager to join their team!

Ideal Candidate

• Main contractor background.


• Qualified to HNC/Degree level in a construction/ design related subject.


• Background working on Education, Public Sector�Commercial�projects would be beneficial.�


• Ambitious and keen to build a long lasting career with a company.

Duties will include:

• Managing all design activity from preconstruction stage through to delivery.


• Advising and supporting the client, commercial and project teams on the risks/ opportunity�with the development of the�building design.


• Managing the design process within agreed timescales whilst displaying excellent technical expertise and commercial awareness.


• Coordinating relevant consultants ensuring design queries are responded to within the deadline


• �Ensure the design process meets current legislation and strive to eliminate health & safety risks during the construction.
