Do you?

• Have an HNC/D or degree in a construction related subject or equivalent, and/or membership of the CIOB, RICS or RIBA is preferred
• Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar design management role, or a combination of a senior technical or operational role such as planning or project management coupled with design management experience
• Have experience of working CAD & Revit and the BIM 360 process  
• Have the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Have a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed
• Have excellent IT skills

Are you?

• An experienced Design Manager in the Construction/Manufacturing sector
• A good negotiator with strong influencing skills
• Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

The Role

The Design Manager will lead and co-ordinate the project design process in compliance with the requirements of SOP 62 Group Preconstruction and Design Management Process and all associated deliverables. The design produced must satisfy our contractual and Statutory obligations and meet the quality and commercial requirement defined for the project. In doing so, the Design Manager will be required to manage a design team comprising both internal colleagues and a range of external consultants from various disciplines.
