Design Engineer

We have a specialist family run manufacturer, based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, who are in need of a versatile design and development engineer to join their growing team.
For this Engineering position will be working, not only in the designing of new machinery but will also play a key role in the development and compliance of the machines too.
The starting salary for this Design and Development position will be circa �40,000 and you will be working a 40 hour week (08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday).
Design Engineer Duties:

• Responsible for creating all 3D models and technical drawings are correct and to a high standard
• Creating technical diagrams for production teams
• Drafting new designs for products
• Ensuring all machinery complies with EU Directives and match ISO Standards
• Travelling internationally for testing and compliance

To be considered for this role you will need to be knowledgeable of the agricultural industry and of relevant UK/EU legislation. Driving is also a non-negotiable, due to the remote location of the company.
