Our client, a market leader in the design, development, manufacture, and supply of Stainless-Steel containment storage solutions is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their Design team.
A role as a Design Engineer has arisen to support this growth and further strengthen our clients' Engineering & Design team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 09:00
17:00, based in Eye, Suffolk.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Design Engineer with good knowledge of 3D CAD design to gain invaluable training, knowledge, and experience within a friendly and supportive Design team.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
To contribute to the production and checking of approval, fabrication, and construction drawings to standard within a given programmed time.
To contribute to the accurate compilation and checking of Bills of Materials/Parts lists for customer specific orders and effective release to production ensuring that these always reflect the current supply situation.
To liaise with team members, customer representatives and manufacturing staff to ensure that the relevant information is available to manufacture the product effectively and in compliance with structural, cost, and contractual obligations.
