Our clients, based in Winchester have a great opportunity for a Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role is a new addition to the Engineering department and will be working on a new major project, its a great opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer who is looking for the next step within their engineering career.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating new & adapting existing products to customer specifications.
You will be required to complete all aspects of the product design phase including concept design, detail design, detail drawings, design reviews (internal and with the customer), FMEAs and all other steps to ensure a design project can be introduced into production.
As part of the project management process, they utilise an APQP based system and it will therefore be the Design Engineers responsibility to ensure that any Engineering related items within the APQP process are suitably covered and therefore the relevant Stage Gates can be completed as required.
