Design Engineer

Role: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Wakefield based permanent work with a forward-thinking company.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours)

Salary: �40,000-�60,000 per annum with additional benefits

Requirements:

• Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with the use of CAD packages, mainly Solidworks or Inventor
• Proven track record with design and development
• Experience with the design of special purpose machinery
• Able to work solo and as part of a close knit team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Involvement in the design and development of innovative products from concept to completion
• Provide Bills of Materials
• Design of special purpose machinery
• Using CAD packages to create 2D/3D Designs.
• Report to Drawing office manager and work closely with colleagues.
• Continuous improvement
