Design Engineer

Design Engineer - Havant Area - �30,000-�45,000 (DOE)
Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a well established engineering company, designing special purpose machinery. This role would be easily commutable from Havant, Portsmouth, Wasterlooville and Petersfield.
As the successful Design Engineer you will have a strong background using Solidworks and will have had exposure to machinery design. Familiarity with medical standards would be beneficial.
The Role:

• Concept design
• Producing technical drawings and assemblies.
• Working on the design of new products and assemblies
• New product development
• Supporting internal projects from concept through to delivery
• Liaising with suppliers as required

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Must have experience using SolidWorks
• An understanding of fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and statics
• Familiar with Engineering and Medical quality standards would be beneficial.
