Design/Draughtsperson

Our client are part of the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, they are public body responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient clean-up of the UK’s nuclear legacy, their work involves a range of activities for safely transporting materials to and from nuclear sites and providing nuclear transport solutions for a range of customers based in the UK and Overseas.

They also provide transport services outside of the nuclear sector, operating a number of intermodal rail services in consumer goods and general freight markets.

We are recruiting for experienced Design/Draughtsperson (Mechanical) to work alongside their design team, looking at manufacturing drawings and making updates and improvements to concept design. 

You will be based/work in their Warrington office and be amongst the team for access to their IT systems and document libraries etc.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:

• Design Background
• Produce Drawing (Parts, Sub-Assembies, Fabricated Assemblies, General Arrangements etc)
• BS8888, Geometrical Tolerances
• Design for Manufacture
• SolidWorks Drawing Package Experience
