Our client is a leading architecture and planning practice in Truro, Cornwall, specialising in bespoke residential and commercial projects. They are currently seeking an experienced Associate Architect/Design Director with at least ten years post-Part 3 experience to lead their dynamic design team, composed of architects, architectural technologists, technicians, town planners, and landscape architects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion, with responsibility for delivery.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the architectural design team, ensuring high standards of design and technical delivery.• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion.• Work closely with in-house town planners and landscape architects to integrate planning and landscape considerations into architectural designs.• Ensure all projects comply with UK building regulations and are delivered on time and within budget.• Provide strong technical knowledge, particularly at the detailing stage.• Engage in high-end residential design, ensuring creativity and excellence in all aspects of work.Essential Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years post-RIBA Part 3 experience.
* ARB accreditation and membership.
* Proven excellence in high-end residential design.
* Extensive new build experience.
* Strong technical knowledge.
* Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations.
* Proficient in 3D drawing software.
* Experience managing teams and delivering residential projects in the UK.
* Full driving licence and use of a vehicle.Desirable Skills:
* ArchiCAD.
* Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Benefits and Package:
* £60,000 per annum
