The Design Coordinator role



As Design Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the design process on a £10 Million Design & Build project. Reporting to the Regional Design Manager the role will be responsible for coordinating the design process including buildability and value engineering; working with clients, architects and consultants; attending and chairing design meetings with relevant stakeholders; coordinate, manage and disseminate all relevant drawings and paperwork; ensuring the design process is managed throughout and the building is successfully delivered in line with all specifications.

Required experience



Successful applicants will have a proven track record of undertaking the role of Design Coordinator for a main contractor who undertake projects of a similar size and nature. In addition successful applicants should either be from a trade, engineering or site management background or hold an HNC or degree level qualification in a construction discipline.
