The White Pine County Treasurer’s Office is seeking applicants for a Deputy Treasurer.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.College level coursework in public administration, business administration or closely related field. (Experience in progressively responsible administrative work relative to financial and banking operations may be used in combination with education.)Must be eighteen years of age. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to handle details accurately and accurate typing skills required.Ability to communicate and deal courteously and tactfully with taxpayers and employees.Computer skills including financial software, Word, Excel, email and internet.Knowledge of bank reconciliations, cash handling, credit card transactions, deposits, tax notices and revenue collection.General clerical skills to include reception, filing, data entry, report preparation and telephone duties.Position HoursThis is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.Pay RateGrade 123 (Steps X-3 DOE)$18.34 - $21.87Closing DateApplicationsWhite Pine County employment applications can be picked up and returned to 801 Clark St # 5, Ely, NV 89301 or emailed to #####.
