What you'll do Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of your storeTarget-driven approach to KPIsManage, motivate, and develop the store teamEnsure adequate stock levels are always maintainedConsistently deliver excellent customer service What you'll need To have completed your A Levels or equivalentMinimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environmentFull driving licenceA passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe flexibility to work varying shift patternsPreferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude What you'll receive Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl£28,000 rising to £37,000 after 3 years29 days holidays per annum rising to 34 days after 2 years (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)Company pension after 1 yearPrivate employee medical insuranceBrilliant opportunities to take on more responsibility and progression to Store Manager level (and beyond!)Individuals recognised as high performing will be invited to join our Leadership Academy as part of your on-going developmentMobile and broadband discounts with VodafoneGenerous discounts available; Circle K, Bike to Work schemeMaternity Leave top up, Marriage leave, Employee Assistance ProgrammeLidl is an equal opportunities employer.
