Job Description:We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hackney to assist with the appointment of a Deputy Payroll Manager, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.Rate of Pay: £23.35 - £29.81 per hourResponsibilities:Organise, plan and prioritise payroll workloads in order to deliver an efficient service for the payment of all payrolls. Advise payroll staff on issues relating to data entry into the HR/payroll system.Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, maintain individual and team performanceEnsure that all performance and behavioural matters are escalated to the Payroll ManagerWork with the HR Systems Team in relation to systems management and processing of the payroll.Review and make recommendations on the payroll procedures and staff training needs.Arrange team meetings and ensure accurate minutes are taken and follow up actions are completed.Qualification:Full member of Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) or equivalent working experience.Proven up-to-date knowledge of payroll processes. legislation and working practices.Experience of using Google Suite to set up records and provide management information.Please note:You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.You should have right to work in U.KDisclaimer: Brackenberry Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
