A global luxury retailer is looking to recruit for a deputy manager to work in one of its multi-million pound flagship locations. This luxury retailer specialises in beauty and luxury goods, boasting a large number of exclusive products that you are not able to find anywhere else on the high street. The UK arm of the company is performing extremely well, despite the current economic climate. They have been beating sales forecast and are delivering a record-breaking sales performance.The role for this particular deputy manager is all about process and focuses on back of house operations. It is a new role into the structure at this location due to the continued growth of the store. You will work as part of a larger management team taking full responsibility for the operational performance of the store. Your remit will include auditing, stock control, merchandising standards, health & safety and stock management, to name a few key areas. As this is a new role, you’ll have the opportunity to embed your own ways of working and ideas, whilst working within the company framework.The ideal candidate will come from a retail environment with experience working with large numbers of product ranges. Whilst you may not currently work in a role where you are focused on the back of house side of the operation, you’ll demonstrate a passion for all things operational. You’ll have an analytical mind, with a methodical way of working in a retail environment. This role is perfect for someone looking for a change and a focus on the operational side of a retail business.In return they are looking to pay a salary of up to £28,000 with a performance related annual bonus of up to £3,000 per year.
