As Deputy Manager, your fulfilling responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the management in running a successful staff team and day-to-day home operations.
  • Assisting in the supervision of junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care for our young individuals' physical, behavioural, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborating with senior staff on creating and maintaining placement and risk management plans.
  • Supporting young people in daily activities, promoting independence, and encouraging positive social behaviour.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People's Residential Services or equivalent.
  • Essential experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior in a Children's Residential Support Work environment.
  • Must be a driver, as transportation of young people may be required.
  • Willingness to work towards or completion of Level 5.
