Partners In Care Recruitment are searching for a Deputy Manager to join one of our Care Partners in Marple, Stockport. The main purpose of the role is to support and deputise for the Registered Manager. The Deputy Manager will efficiently and effectively deliver the main responsibilities of their role within a specialist, therapeutic, children's residential care setting.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Experience of working with Children and Young People at a Senior/Team Leader Level.
Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship or Equivalent. NVQ Level 3/Level 4
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, be working towards or willing to achieve.
Main responsibilities
Management and supervision of Team Leader and Senior Residential Support Workers
Ensure Team Leaders and Senior Residential Support Workers have the skills and ability to effectively manage the residential support workers.
Organise staff rotas and ensure all staff understand and are aware of the daily routines of the home.
Ensure that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in relation to Childrens Regulations and are aware of the variety of intervention strategies to work with children and young people in our care.
