***PARENTING ASSESSMENT CENTRE DEPUTY MANAGER - MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM - 5PM***

We have an INCREDIBLE opportunity for a Children's Deputy Manager to join one of the UK's leading Children's organisations in their parenting assessment unit.

The Service offers residential parenting assessments for up to 6 families at any one time, in a safe and supportive environment. The service can support parents and their children from a range of backgrounds for up to 18 weeks, offering opportunities for parents to demonstrate their full potential in terms of positive parenting.

**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car and hold the NVQ Level 3 Children & Young People qualification**

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people.

Salary: £29,120 plus overtime available

Location: Malvern

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Duties will include;


  • Supporting the management to run a successful staff team and all day to day operations of the home
  • To assist the management team with the supervisions of junior staff
  • Inducting new staff into the homes procedure and culture
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care in relation to the family's needs.
  • Assist senior staff with the writing and maintaining of placement and risk management plans
  • Support young people in daily activities including family contact, attending local clubs, 1:1 activities in the community, promoting independence and social behaviour.


Key Skills Required:


  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment is ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK driving licence is ESSENTIAL as you may be required to transport the children from time to time
