As a deputy manager you will be working closely with the Home Manager, to develop the skills of the care team, using your personal and professional experience to make sure those we care for have all the support they need.Deputy Care Manager - You will be responsible for:Delivering positive experiences to those we care forDeliver medicationsSupport the writing of care plans and develop staff skill and knowledge in this areaWork closely with other health professional to develop treatment plansBe involved in review processes of residentsSupport the care team to develop their practiceDeliver supervisionsDeliver training sessionsSupport the auditing process of the homeFeed into managers meetingsThink creatively about improving outcomes for peopleA background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. You will also have a background in leading a team to deliver care. What is essential is a brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with others. You will know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively.
