Check out this full time, 12-month fixed term vacancy!A leading and successful provider of analytical and environmental testing services are currently seeking a Deputy Lab Manager to join their team in Oxfordshire on a full-time basis, initially for a 12-month Fixed term contract, with possibilities for extension or to go permanent. Ideal for a candidate with a background in managing analytical teams in a UKAS ISO17025 lab. Commutable from Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Swindon, Didcot, and Newbury.Role OverviewEnsure the efficient running of the laboratory.Monitor staff performance and KPIs, providing support and coaching as needed.Monitor and optimise existing processes, procedures and methods.Manage instruments and equipment portfolio.To be considered...RequirementsA Degree or equivalent in Chemistry related discipline (essential)Experience managing teams in an analytical chemistry Laboratory. (essential)Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, particularly ISO17025, MCERTS and relevant H&S standards.Experience in the field of Radiochemistry is highly beneficial but not essential.In returnThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading analytical testing services provider, with opportunities for contract extension or progression to a permanent role with the business.
