The right person will have the energy, motivation and enthusiasm to promote our vision, to encourage aspiration in our young people and to contribute to raising standards in our successful, forward thinking learning community.Do you have:--The desire to make a difference and improve opportunities for all of our children?-The skills as a team player to support and lead others in teaching and learning?-The expertise in a key curriculum area to move the school forward and set higher challenges for pupils?-Good communication skills and a sense of fun?We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who:• Has a passion for teaching and learning, with an excellent record of classroom practice and the highest expectations of pupils’ attainment and behaviour.• Is able to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills and use these to inspire and support colleagues in order to build on the many strengths of our school.• Can think strategically and creatively and support the Head teacher and Governing Body to take forward initiatives in the next stage of the school’s development.• Is a confident user of IT, with successful experience of using data and assessment to maximise outcomes.• Has a positive and caring attitude with a desire to overcome any challenges that arise.
