GBP120000 - GBP140000 per annum Our client, a leading global bank are looking to hire a Deputy Head of Private Banking to provide active input to the overall business management, growth, strategic development and leadership for Private Banking, ideally with a knowledge of African Markets.Main ResponsibilitiesWorking with Head of Private Banking to develop the team's Business Strategy - shape and support development of the business strategy, including periodic performance reviewsEnsure the growth and profitability of the Private Banking Wealth Management Portfolio through solicitations and referrals and the judicious selection of Client PortfoliosDrive the accurate assessment of client risk profile, suitability and appropriateness for Wealth Management ServicePromote strong and effective working relationships and communications within staff, ensuring that staff are motivated, developed and supportedProactively manage the clients' investment portfolios by applying a range of portfolio management techniquesPromote the education of clients in the wealth management space and provide financial advisory services to enhance the quality of their investment decisionsProvide supervisory function within WM and Advisory Business Unit, ensuring relevant regulations adhered to for competence sign off of potential AdvisorsJob Requirements:Experienced banker and investment specialist.International background, ideally with direct experience of the West African market Existing client relationship/network in the non- domiciled marketExceptional client relationship management skillsRDR Compliant - level 4 or above FCA approved qualification (Level 6 preferable)Unless otherwise stated, candidates must have the right to work in the UK.The CLARC Guarantee - we 100% guarantee that your CV will never be sent to a client without your prior expressed permission so all of your details are totally secure with us.
