Fantastic opportunity to work with an iconic organisation in the heart of London (client side).Boden Group has been instructed to support in the search for a Deputy Head of Facilities looking after a handful of buildings with tons of vibrant history and buildings which are still very much in use to this day.The environment would suit someone from a background or passion for listed properties and the challenges that come with it which will keep you on your toes! If you’ve only ever worked in brand new, modern, glass, shiny offices spaces, this may not be for you!What are the main objectives of the role? You will be the person responsible for performance, efficiency and delivery of facilities management across the buildings with certain objectives to achieve (as part of and managing a team).
You will be dealing with planned maintenance, repair and where required renewal of building assets along with cleaning, catering, pest control and security services (where applicable) for the properties and include both in house and outsourced services.
The role will directly manage a team of Property Facilities Managers (Both technical and non-technical), health and safety management For this group of buildings, you will report into the Head of Facilities Management who heads up the whole FM function across the wider estate. What are we looking for in a successful candidate? Whilst we are not looking specifically for a technically qualified person - it would help due to the nature of the buildings.
You must know enough about hard services, plant rooms, fabric maintenance etc to deal with the relevant contractors you will be managing on site.
Someone who has substantial knowledge of industry standards and best practice for the administration and management of FM contracts.
