If you are a passionate Nurse then we are looking for you to join our large Nursing team at Sprowston!About usWe have a supportive, experienced team with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology and two Vets studying for certificates. We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, gonioscope, tonometry, orthopaedic kit, multi parameter units for theatre and full in-house lab. We also have 2 mental health first aiders in our team in practice.We are a large team here at Norwich Sprowston and we pride ourselves on being close knit and passionate. Our enthusiasm for our work ignites us as a team and we would love for you to join our work family!About youWe are looking for an RVN with a minimum of 4 years' experience and ideally with some previous skills and knowledge in leading a team. You will be the line manager for all the SVNs and VCAs carrying out regular 1:1 meetings and appraisals. You will work alongside our Head Nurse and our Practice Development Manager to help with training of the SVNs and organising CPD for the team.Other daily tasks may include Rota Management, Holiday Request, Weekly Management Meetings alongside working as an RVN carrying out hospital care, operations, nursing consults and all other nursing duties.BenefitsSalary up to £33,696 (FTE/DOE)Good work-life balance, full time role consists of a 4-day week (with same day off each week!)Flexible to consider part-time candidatesMust be able to work a Monday each week1 in 4 weekends essentialNo out of hoursPension schemePaid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)Sick Pay after 1 year increasing with length of employmentExclusive colleague discounts including High Street retailers and restaurantsNorwich is a small city on the East coast of the UK.
