Location: SloughJob Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: Competitive We are looking for a Deputy Director of Learning - MFL (French) to join our team at a large all-through school. The successful candidate will be a French specialist with a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving standards and raising pupil outcomes.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a middle leader to extend their experience or for an outstanding teacher to step into a leadership position. Day to Day of the role:
Develop and implement a French curriculum that suits every type of learner.Lead the MFL department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning within the department.Foster an environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural appreciation.Contribute to the school’s strategic planning and self-evaluation processes. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree-level qualification in French or a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status.Track record of delivering ‘outstanding’ teaching.Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.Ability to teach French to GCSE standard. Benefits:
