Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities

Job Description
I am currently working with a Public Sector organisation who are looking for a Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to join their team on a 12 month FTC.
The role involves overseeing the safety, security, and management of the built environment, including estate strategy development, capital project planning and delivery, and facilities management.
The Deputy Director is responsible for managing significant revenue and capital budgets, ensuring financial accountability, and developing cost improvement programs.
They are also tasked with leading and managing staff teams, promoting a positive culture, and driving projects to improve performance and satisfaction levels.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant discipline, significant senior management experience, and strong commercial and contracts management skills.
