Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities 12 months FTC HertfordshireOur client is currently recruiting for a Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to join their NHS team on a 12 month FTC. The role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an effective estate strategy together with providing the professional leadership and operational management across their portfolio.Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities;Lead the Estates and Facilities team and to manage, motivate and develop staff so as the maintain the highest level of staff moraleDeliver effective appraisals and personal development plans for all staff in line with best practiceLead on performance management, recruitment and development of the Estates and Facilities staff, and managing disciplinary and capability issuesResponsible for keeping land and property in good repair, maintaining backlog maintenance risk register whilst creating and maintaining a safe, suitable and attractive environmentAccountable for all aspects of design, project management, procurement delivery and commissioning of capital development projectsResponsible for the strategic development, business planning, operational delivery, performance standards and regulatory compliance of facilities and environment servicesInterpret and comply with relevant legislation, regulation and best practice guidanceAccountable for all financial, contract, business and performance aspectsEssential criteria of the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities;Relevant professional qualification and expertise gained within the fieldExperience at either Director/Deputy Director level or Senior Manage in either a public or private sector organisationSuccessfully manage a large scale complex NHS environmentFull UK Driving licence and DBSFor more infromation regarding this role please contact our Derby Office Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
