It’s an exciting transformation and we’re investing in an enhanced in-house capability to deliver it – so, if you’re a forward-looking and innovative IT professional, this is your opportunity to be in on the ground floor and help us build the future of banking.How you’ll make a differenceThe Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) supports the CISO in developing and implementing TSB’s cybersecurity strategy and associated security improvement programme. This role involves taking on significant technical leadership within key areas of the cybersecurity domain, while also assisting in the overall management and operational responsibilities of one or more of the BAU teams within the CISO function. The Deputy CISO is expected to act as the CISO’s representative in their absence and ensure the seamless execution of the bank’s security initiatives.What you’ll bring• A degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science is desirable or the equivalent work experience.• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are highly desirable.• Experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry.• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations pertinent to banking and finance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).• Proven experience in managing and developing a cybersecurity team.• Strong understanding of current and emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior management and across various business units.• Experience in managing security operations and incident response in a complex environment.What we offer in return• Hybrid and flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work/life balance.• An attractive reward and myTSB benefits package, giving you more of what matters to you.• A diverse, energising and collaborative working environment.• A truly inclusive organisation that values difference, where everyone feels welcome and has access to equal opportunities.• A career that’s enriching and full of opportunities.If this sounds right up your street, come and join our team.
