Deputy CFO

THE SEARCH:Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a prominent large-cap private equity firm to appoint a Deputy CFO for a corporate business services and logistics (B2B) asset based in London. This position is a critical hire and will report directly into the Group CFO with full divisional leadership oversight. Aside from full operational and P&L ownership, this role will be a key driver of the broader value creation plan and will ensure best-in-class divisional processes and frameworks are in place. The successful applicant will have an extensive divisional FD or CFO track record within a B2B focused corporate of scale, and private equity exposure will be beneficial.THE ROLE:Contribute to developing the strategic agenda and financial planning of the business and its executionIdentification, planning and execution of acquisition targets including the integration processLeading the finance function and oversight of all operational finance activity, including month end and board reporting, audit, and all year end activityPrepare and present the board pack materials to internal and external stakeholders including investorsManaging and developing a finance team, acting as a visible face of the business both internally and to external partiesEnsuring that robust frameworks and systems are in place to accommodate continuedgrowthPresent regular insightful management information, including market analysis, budgets, forecasting and necessary commentaryEstablish and ensure the adherence to financial processes that meet the statutory requirements of the organisationManaging and developing relationships with investors and key stakeholders across the businessModel financial climate scenarios and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plansTHE REQUIREMENTS:P&L ownership experience at a large-cap/corporate assetPrior logistics or business services experience is highly beneficialLeadership of large teams and complex organisationsPrivate Equity experience is highly beneficial
