Contract: Permanent
Location: Access Plus - Bathgate
Salary: £43,000 - £47,000
Access Plus is a powered access equipment hire company delivering specialist solutions throughout the UK. Today, our extensive fleet and range of services, position us as one of the leading powered access providers in the UK. Our powered access platforms for hire include cherry pickers, scissor lifts and other MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms). We are part of The Briggs Equipment Group who are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact you will have:
Responsible for the effective management of the various functions, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the depot.
Line management responsibility for depot staff, including recruitment, training & development.
Setting and attaining monthly turn over targets and identifying areas of potential growth.
Overseeing processes in the areas of transport, engineering, health and safety, quality, and human resource management.
Reviewing and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are applied at all times.
Ensuring that sufficient amount of stock is available for hire and equipment is maximised to its full potential.
Reviewing security of depot by ensuring perimeter fencing, fire alarm, emergency lighting and firefighting equipment checks are carried out.
Continuously reviewing all hire documentation to keep up to date with accepted standards
What will help you to excel in this role:
Previous experience within the hire or construction industry
Knowledge of logistics and operational management
Significant experience of managing staff
Ability to motivate, drive and develop a successful team
Excellent communication skills and team player.
