Job Title: Home Delivery Depot Manager

Location: Swindon

Pay Rates: �29,870.00

Shift Patterns: Day Shift - Afternoons

We have an exciting new vacancy available for a brand new depot opening in Swindon (SN5 Area). Our well established client who has several hubs across the UK is bringing a state-of-the-art depot to the area and is looking for a hands on Depot Manager to join the first step of their journey.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all team leaders, warehouse operatives & Van drivers.
  • Daily management of the home delivery process.
  • Daily management coaching and development of employees.
  • Following all health and safety protocols.
  • Providing support to the CHD Transport manager and assistant manager.
  • Managing communication with service providers and stakeholders to ensure KPI targets are met.
  • Preparation and participation in team meetings.
  • Ensuring stock management and stock takes are recorded daily.
  • Processing inbound returns accurately.
  • Assisting with warehouse team PDC's
  • Assisting with vehicle gatehouse checks
  • Assisting management with vehicle maintenance reporting and bookings.

Pay

  • �29,870.00
  • 13:00-21:30 Monday to Friday (we will require you to be flexible to start with as there will be day shifts involved as the hub is newly established)

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • FLT - Counterbalance.
  • Proven Supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
