Bristol Contract:Permanent full time Depot Manager Opportunity Senior role reporting directly into the Managing Director where you will have overallresponsibility for the workshop operation. Depot Manager duties Ensure Workshop practices are constantly reviewed, audited where required and revised where appropriate to achieve optimum levels of service, safety and efficiency.
- Accept accountability for the performance of Workshop operations and for the support, growth and development of the team.
- Identify opportunity for continual cost savings and efficiency improvements with recommended actions – in particular labour control, efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policy, protocols, procedures and H&S parameters.
- Ensuring jobs are completed on-time and accurately.
- Ensuring job cards are completed and clear records are retained.
- Ensuring all parts needed are proactively ordered to complete workshop jobs.
- Manage and monitor open job to ensure swift turnaround with 100% quality assurance.
- Provide quotations for accident or mechanical repairs and ensure proactively managed forward. Depot Manager experience required
- Currently in or been in a similar role within the HGVor specialist vehicle sector
