The roleAs a Deployment Engineer, you'll work directly with Heron's highest-value customers. You'll ensure that prospects have a good experience trialling our product, and that they can use it seamlessly as they become customers. More broadly, you sit at the intersection between customers, customer success, engineering, and product. Your goal is to use your technical knowledge to ensure that customers get the most value out of Heron Data.As part of this work, you'll be the first technical Heron to learn about the pain points and needs of prospective customers. This will allow you to have an important voice in influencing Heron's product direction, making sure that the needs of prospective customers are taken into account.You will take ownership over the interfaces that guide our customers in implementing Heron (e.g., tutorials, API docs, etc.). This will allow you to scale yourself, ensuring you focus your work on the most complicated and ambiguous questions.What we're looking forThis role could be ideal for someone with a technical background who would like to move into a Product role or otherwise gain more exposure to customers, Sales or Customer Success.Above all else, we value people who have a growth mindset and who want to make an impact in their work.
