The role:
My client requires a Deployment Engineer urgently to join them on an initial 6 month basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Financial Services, in a Deployment position, and be competent in deploying both Hardware and Software in a fast paced environment.
This role will involve frequent out of hours work both in the evenings and weekends. This will be compensated via time off in lieu.
Responsibilities:
Providing support for internal employees
Planning and carrying out desk moves (evenings / weekends)
Deploying hardware setups
Onboarding users
Inventory management
Deploying software via tools such as Altiris
Providing 1st / 2nd Line support
Network troubleshooting
Windows, Office support
Any Linux Desktop skills highly advantageous
