Dental Therapist

Our client are  looking for a skilled Dental Therapist them. As a Dental Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with patients of all ages. You should also be knowledgeable in interpreting medical imaging such as x-rays.

Duties

• Perform Dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root surface debridement


• Provide Direct Access pathway for patients


• Conduct oral cancer screenings


• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations


• Administer local anaesthesia as needed


• Document patient treatment plans, progress, and any abnormalities observed

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental hygienist


• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for interpreting X-rays and identifying dental conditions


• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles

• Valid GDC registration  (Required)


• Valid Immunisations (Hep B)


• Clear DBS certificate (we can support with this if required) & full indemnity cover


• CPD certificates & 2 clinical references
