I am currently seeking a Demolition CCDO Foreman to join our client's team in overseeing a demolition project in the Berkshire area. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team of demolition operatives and able to demonstrate the skills outlined below. This is a temp to permanent oppportunity.

Job Description: Demolition CCDO Foreman

* Responsibility for daily planning and management/smooth running of projects

* Daily inspections of vehicles and plant

* Also perform occasional maintenance and repair work(i.e. oil check, parts changing)

* Timely employee resource allocation to begin daily tasks

* Daily allocation of tasks to staff (ensuring methods followed)

* Complete site set up including.

* Scheduling booking of materials, plant, vehicles, tools etc

* Induction (focus on Health and Safety)

* Completion of relevant paperwork/diary

* Hand Demolition, isolation work, bat mitigation work, roof stripping, machine/plant operation, delivery of plant and materials to site, and asbestos removal.

* Diversify/delegate to other departments when needed.

* Operate min 13ton 360 excavator when required for demolition and clearing

* As required, be flexible in working on other foremen’s sites as a demolition labourer.

* Unload scrap metal from that day per procedure and reclaim all materials where possible from site, and prepare materials/load in advance of next day.

* Understanding, awareness and application of ISO standards.

Person Specification:

* Qualifications/requirements include:

* Valid CPCS or equivalent and DVLC, with knowledge of relevant demolition/health and safety policies and procedures.

* CCDO Demolition Supervisor Gold Card

* Self-motivated as well as a good motivator

* Confident, positive and effective people management skills. Working effectively in teams and be able to work co-operatively. Be open to learning opportunities.

* Physically able to perform manual demolition tasks.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within team/management, and with customers, contractors etc.

* Be open to and encourage change.

* Be proactive and constructive in problem solving and conflict management.

* Must possess excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, plan and prioritise workloads. The ability to reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes.
