As our
Demand Planning Assistant
supporting our Demand Planning Manager your responsibilities will include:-
o developing seasonal demand forecasts: anticipate customers response to promotions and new product launches
o providing assistance when we’re faced with constrained supply
o improving and maintaining forecast accuracy working with customers, sales team and supply chain management
o use, understand and interrogate data to review demand patterns and business trends
o maintaining the demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands
o risk assessment and mitigation activities
o to clearly communicate both internally and externally any issues, queries, availability in a timely manner
o creating a robust forecast to ensure Service Level is at industry benchmark and meets internal metrics
Our ideal candidate would be someone who is very well organised; has a flair for accurate data management and excellent attention to detail. You'll probably have had some commercial experience, maybe in a planning, supply chain or logistics team for 1-2 years. If you have good systems experience (eg: ERP systems or SAP) that would be an advantage. In any event we are looking for advanced excel skills.
