We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a well-known brand in Surrey, recruiting a Demand Planner into a team of 5.

The role is hands on - analysing data & business partnering with the relevant Heads of Department.
Head office is in Surrey but the business are happy for you to work remotely with occasional office face time for important meetings / team building - estimated once a quarter.
This is being recruited as a 12 month mat leave cover. However, the team is growing and they are hoping to soon have an additional headcount signed off, so this can become a permanent role.
£32,000 - £35,000 per annum
The Role
Forecasting
Work with wider Demand Planning Team to ensure right product, right place, right time
Coordinate with key stakeholders to gain local insight into market influences to correctly set levels and gain wider business agreement into forecast
Review and approve email requests for changes as sent to the Demand Planning inbox in conjunction with stakeholders
Accountable for Waste & Availability
New Locations
Coordinate with Asset Manager on install dates
Work with stakeholders to ensure opening forecasts are appropriate to both sales and budgets
Management of Halo performance and transition to core forecasts
Range Changes
Ensure all New Product Development (NPD) products are defined within Reflex
Prepare range change scripts
Ranking of NPD products based on historical data and stakeholder feedback
Product Recipes
Coordinate with NPD team on recipe definitions
Program into Reflex all ingredients and labour requirements for all current and future products
Coordinate with Ops teams on changes in resource requirement on all products
Submission of planned volumes to Supply Team to ensure correct material resourcing
Capacity Planning
Ensure information is available on production hours, manufacturing labour, vehicle capacity and loadout weights
Calculation of infrastructure requirements over key periods
Analytics
Identify through data analysis areas of opportunity to drive sales or reduce waste
Present information to key stakeholders in understandable formats
Determine conclusions and recommended actions/next steps
Reporting
Refresh and publish KPI files every Monday
Prepare data for monthly meetings
Data requests from key stake holders
Your Profile
Demand planning experience, ideally in a product-based environment
Effective communicator - written & verbal
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Power Query / Power BI advantageous, not essential
Willing to consider a 12 month contract, with the potential for a permanent role
