Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Forecast product demand, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from sales, marketing, finance, and operations departments.
- Develop and execute inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyse data trends to identify fluctuations in product demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply meets demand.
- Monitor and adjust forecasts using software systems.
- Prepare and present forecast accuracy reports to management.
- Participate in monthly sales and operations planning meetings.
- Assist in the development of the annual operating plan.
Profile
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience in a similar Demand Planning role.
- Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices.
- Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and forecasting software.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to travel monthly to European head office.
- Ability to speak French would be advantageous.
