The business is structured so that our clients can enjoy the combined skills, contacts, and experience of our entire national and international FD/CFO team without the cost of employing a full-time FD/CFO.Role Purpose:As part of the UK Marketing leadership team the Demand Generation Manager is instrumental in building and delivering the inbound and in-life marketing programmes for prospects and clients. Working with Group Marketing the role holder will be responsible for devising evergreen, time and event driven content campaigns and nurturing programmes aimed at generating new marketing qualified client leads and existing client upsell, cross sell and retention.Alongside the responsibilities for content development the Demand Generation Manager will also be responsible for working with Group to drive the development and optimisation of all UK inbound channels including paid advertising, SEO, social and email.The role holder must be able to stand in the shoes of our clients building a content strategy that enables clients to take the next best action relevant to them. They must be passionate about content and familiar with various forms this make take from video to posts. As they will be responsible for a team they must also possess strong leadership and coaching skills.Responsibilities:Working alongside Group Marketing:Content Strategy:Develop a content led strategy to drive inbound marketing qualified leads and client in-life cross/up sales and retention. These strategies may also include the development of account-based marketing for targeted higher value prospects.Building an annual content campaign plan and calendar that supports the achievement of the businesses’ growth objectives.Own the messaging framework for the development of content assets.Leverage content best practice and tools to maximise effectiveness.Content Development and effectiveness:Build and manage appropriate content assets that will work across the new and existing client journey.Ensure that all content conforms to brand, VP, product and legal guidelines optimizing, refreshing and retiring content as needed.Build tracking and measurement mechanisms to ensure impact of content can be measured.Maintain an appropriate content library.Inbound Channel strategyBuild a plan and budget to optimise and nurture inbound traffic including SEO, paid advertising, social and PR. Ensure cost effective delivery of leads.Build nurture pathways to aid clients to their next best action and drive MQLs.Devise and implement the appropriate channel strategy to support in-life client journeys and business objectives.Team:Work with other parts of the UK marketing team and Group to ensure all content marketing efforts are co-ordinated and maximised.Lead, manage and coach a team of three to build appropriate career paths.Role key performance indicators (KPIs):Quantity and quality of marketing inbound leadsSuccessful embedding of content led marketing planInbound CPASkills & Competencies:At least 5 years’ experience in planning and executing successful B2B content led marketing strategies.A track record of building B2B content led campaigns preferably in financial and /or professional services.Experience in inbound channel and digital marketing including SEO, digital and advertising, social and PR.A creative professional, ability to be pro-active and self-driven.Excellent written and verbal communications.Ability to align cross functional teams to deliver customer centric outcomes.Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully across the organization.Strong customer centric alignment.Qualifications:Appropriate content marketing and digital marketing qualificationsDegree level educated (preferable)Salary: From £50,000 per annum
