At Hackney Council we have an ambitious vision to make the borough fairer and safer, greener and healthier and a great place for every child to grow up. To help deliver that vision, we are developing a cross-council transformation programme supported by a brand new team.The team will work with colleagues across the council to deliver improved services for residents. Our programme is in development and we will work flexibly so you will work on a varied range of projects. Our current areas of focus include:– Securing better community outcomes by preventing problems developing and reducing demand– Driving up residents experience of contacting and working with the council– Modernising how we work ensuring we are efficient and high performingIn this role, you’ll be directly leading multi-disciplinary project teams to identify and deliver opportunities for change aligned to the council’s strategic priorities. You will have experience of delivering complex transformational change in a public sector context, working with a range of stakeholders to co-produce and implement improvements which deliver positive outcomes for our residents. We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have designed and delivered commercialisation projects that deliver financial returns.Just as important as your background is your mindset – we’re committed to putting residents at the heart of what we do and designing and delivering inclusive services that work for everyone.
