Position Description



Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will deliver a supporting role within the branch operation, to supply product to regional customers.





ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Delivery of new products to customers to and ensure warranty and waste product is returned to the branch in a timely manner.

  • Warehouse duties.

  • Supporting stock control process

  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are adhered to.

  • Uphold standards by adhering to all policies and procedures.

  • Attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas.

  • Proactive attitude toward Health and Safety demonstrating engagement with safety campaigns and near miss reporting to improve safety and reduce workplace incidents.

  • Non-conformance reporting to improve inbound and outbound processes.





Specific duties




  • Use of MHE to include manual pallet trucks and forklift trucks (counterbalance; Reach; Flexi trucks).

  • Adhering to documentation processes for customer returned product i.e., warranty and waste battery collections.

  • Quarterly stock take – supporting manual inventory count process, documentation of counting and re-check of discrepancies.

  • Ad hoc inventory control checks.

  • Stock rotations – using FIFO.

  • Stock voltage checks.

  • Conduct aging stock quality checks.

  • Relabeling of products as necessary.

  • Label stock control to check specifications and stock levels.

  • Racking safety inspections – visual control checks and reporting to management.

  • Pre-shift inspection of MHE and vehicles.

  • Manage waste packaging using baler to ensure adherence to recycling targets.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment



Lights Goods Vehicle – 3.5 tonne. Monday to Friday 40 hours.
