Job Title:Decorating Plant SupervisorResponsible to:Decorating Plant ManagerReporting positions:Operatives, Quality Control, Electrical EngineersLocation:RotherhamShift Pattern:Days (6am-2pm) and Afters (2pm-9pm)Main Areas of ResponsibilityAssist in all areas including:Monitoring filters and ensuring they are changed in a timely mannerEnsuring correct paint colour and levels are maintainedEnsure traceability is retained through the processSelf-snapping with adjacent lineRecording minor stopsAutonomous maintenance when requiredAchievement of departmental targetsStanding in for Plant Manager when off siteAssist the Quality Control SupervisorPerson SpecificationBottle knowledgeExperience of Lean Manufacturing – desirableExperience of working within CI teams – desirableGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work machinery and systems to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)Understanding of targets and OTIF (On Time In Full)Numerate and literate (GCSE or equivalent)PC literateFirst Aid trained – desirableApplications
