Up to £50k p.a. dependant on experience.
Location: East Anglia area Hybrid role
Hybrid working offering 2 days from home per week,
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Dealership Accountant working as part of a well renowned Motor trade /Automotive Dealership Group. To be considered for this role you will have held a senior Accountancy Management role within the Automotive Industry. This Is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Motor Trader Dealership Accountant with working knowledge of a Dealer management system such as Kerridge /CDK or Pinnacle. You will be a highly analytical Accountant with a hands-on approach with excellent leadership skills and great attention to detail to join their team were you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting function, including the preparation and completion of monthly management accounts, preparation of the monthly payroll and manufacturer reporting requirements.

Dealership Accountant key responsibilities
· Full nominal ledger balance sheet reconciliations produced and reviewed within the given deadline.
· Producing comprehensive monthly management accounts
· Presenting financial data to management teams
· Effective management of working capital
· Overseeing a small team of accounts assistants to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the store’s sales and purchase ledgers
· Finance support for operations
· Assist with Budgeting & Forecasting
· Compliance with auditing standards and accounting policies and procedures.
· To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues functioning as a team player
· Any other duties as required
Dealership Accountant Skills
· Senior Account Management experience within the Automotive/Motor Industry
· Working knowledge of a Dealer Management system such as Kerridge or pinnacle coupled with strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
· Good organisation and administrative skills
· Can communicate effectively
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent level of numeracy
