Job description
Within the H&M Group, Logistics is responsible to make our fashion flow in a sustainable, qualitative and efficientway. We put the customer in focus and our job is about fulfilling the customer promise, creating a great online andin-store shopping experience.
In Autumn 2019 we open the H&M Group's first OMNI (online and store) Logistics Centre in Milton Keynes (+-73,000 m²). The Logistics Centre employs over 1000 ambitious, committed and motivated colleagues who shareour values and take responsibility for all daily distribution and Logistics operations for the UK/IE online and over250 stores.
As a Team Leader you will lead the day-to-day operations for a specific team, ensure service levels, compliance and drive continuous improvements in line with set targets for service, efficiency and cost.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, manage, and organize an outbound department team, andmonitor productivity Support outbound Department Manager inmaximizing operationalexcellence, quality, and efficiencyby proactive analysis of logisticsprocesses and management of workflows Responsible forretail store allocation & replenishment and onlinepicking,pick location storage and replenishment, packing, potentialfuture outbound VAS, and shippingto fulfill customer expectations Secure efficiency and smooth operations in a cost-efficient way andaccording to H&M operational & sustainability standards Guaranteeoptimal product availability and picking Understand the features of the systemsused in the warehouse, beingable to run the operationon a daily basis Responsible to conduct inventory counts Identify risks and issues in daily DC outbound department teamandreport to outbound Department Manager to support resolving identified risks, issues, and follow-up COMPETENCIES
Good operational DC outbound experience across Online + Storestoeffectively lead operations of an outbound team Hands-on approachfor pragmatic day-to-day workflowmanagement and problem resolution Understanding of outbound processes and garment flow Good understanding of warehouse management system Knowledgeable in operational outbound logistics standards, as wellas departmentsustainability targets Strong communication and coordinationskills Holistic viewto look at the bigger perspective with avisionaryapproach Ability toencourage collaboration, co-creation and peopledevelopmentby empowering others Agile mindsetwith positive attitude to change & meaningful growth Inclusive & empathetictowards others whilstencouraging diversity Self awareness,understanding your impact on othersandcontribution to the whole group
