DC Motor Winder

Winder required. My client is a leading Engineering services provider with locations throughout the UK & Ireland and they are now in the process of hiring Motor Winders for their site in Swansea. Ideal candidates will come from an Engineering background, have specific AC/DC motor experience, will ideally hold a formal Engineering qualification and will be based locally to Swansea.

Winder Position Overview

• Testing of AC/DC Electrical motor windings
• Using burnout techniques
• Detailing of AC/DC motor windings
• Rewinding a range of AC/DC motors
• Connection and testing of windings
• Undertaking stoving and impregnation tasks

Winder Position Requirements

• Qualified in an Engineering discipline
• Experience with both AC and DC Motor winding
• Experience and proficient with Mechanical / Electrical fitting on a range of motors
• Full clean driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Swansea

Winder Position Remuneration

• Hourly rate �16.57
• 5-hour week - Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30
• Overtime available at 1.5x and 2x standard rate
• 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
