DB Senior Actuarial Analyst – 27462

The purpose of this role is to undertake pricing and actuarial input required to support delivery of DB Data True Ups and other tasks relating to in-force business.Location: London/ReigateCategory: Life ActuarialType: PermanentKey duties (including, but not limited to):Support Head of True up and DB Actuary in accurate and timely delivery of data true upsPrepare/check internal sign off documentation for each quotation, ensuring results are presented to Head of True up or DB Actuary in a clear manner, outlining all material areas of judgement and limitationsPrepare/ check drafts of client deliverables / data true up letters to be issued externallyCarry out all necessary BAU work for in force business which includes scheme valuationsPrepare/ check scheme valuations and ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate mannerPrepare/ check individual member calculations and ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate mannerDevelop a deep knowledge of all systems and tools used by the True up teamProactively drive projects forward to ensure they are progressed in line with expected timescalesActively assist in development of junior team membersProactively work to promote a culture of collaboration and engagement within the True up teamObtained or working towards the FIA qualification and making good progress with the actuarial examsSomeone who has ceased working towards an actuarial qualificationMinimum of 3 years of experience of working within a pensions or investment consultancy, life insurer or reinsurer
