Day Time Approved Mental Health Professional

Requirements:

• A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England is required.
• You must be a committed and dedicated Social Worker with experience of working in a community mental health setting.
• You should have experience of working with the Care Programme Approach (as laid out in the NHS and Community Care Act of 1990), Mental Health Act (#####, updated#####7), Mental Capacity Act#####15) and the Care Ac#####014).
• Excellent needs and risk assessment skills.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate

NonStop Care are seeking an experienced AMHP to participate in the daytime AMHP rota by being called upon to undertake Mental Health Act assessments in the capacity of Approved Mental Health Professional.

The service operates 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. daily although there may be occasions when assessments fall outside these times

You will need to have had experience practising as an AMHP in recent roles as well as hold a warrant, as you will be required to hit the ground running. The team is held in high regard by peers as they work in a busy service although still maintain a high standard of work and positive team ethos.
